‘X-Men: First Class’ Jennifer Lawrence takes her clothes off in GQ. Already?

Let’s flash back to the Oscars red carpet. Remember that gorgeous young blond in the fitted, simple elegant red dress?
Of course you do. We all do.
Well, that was Jennifer Lawrence, who, at age 20, was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her breakout role in the Missouri-Gothic movie, Winter’s Bone. Since then, she’s played a young blue Mystique in the X-Men prequel, soon to open. And she’s also landed the coveted role in the hotly anticipated film, The Hunger Games, about a teenage girl forced to compete in a battle to the death in a post apocalyptic world.
Practically overnight, Jennifer has joined the healthy ranks of the Hot Hollywood Blondes Who Can Act Club, an elite group that also includes Teresa Palmer and Abbie Cornish.
As a result, Jennifer now appears — in her sexy skivvies — in the new issue of GQ. No, there’s not an interview with Jennifer. Who cares what she has to say, right? (Actually, we do) And the photos of her in her underwear — posing on her knees on the floor, high heels uncomfortably tucked behind her, staring off into space with a blank gaze — actually make her look a little bit sad and uncomfortable. Sure doesn’t look like she’s having much fun at this photo shoot.
But you do get to read the GQ writer’s horny pant-rants about her beauty, acting skills and her sudden impact on Hollywood. And her X-Men director Matthew Vaughn weighs in on Jennifer, explaining that she’s “got a set of balls on her.”
Why on earth do men think that’s such huge praise for a woman? That’s such a misogynistic turn of phrase, kinda like saying she doesn’t throw like a girl.
