Callan McAuliffe

Callan McAuliffe doesn’t have a number. Or does he?

The Dish Rag caught up with one of the stars of “I am Number Four” at — of all places — the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards on Monday (Feb. 7).

Callan McAliffe, 16, was there because he starred in Rob Reiner‘s Flipped. the movie that won the AARP Intergenerational Award. He talked a bit about that nostalgic film but also gave us some insight into his “Number Four” character. “I am not a number,”  he revealed. “I’m just a free man. My character might develop into something else. You never know.”

He’s so cute (and did we mention only 16) so we’re totally forgiving him for missing the reference to  Patrick McGoohan‘s infamous line from The Prisoner:  “I am not a number! I am a free man!”

Attention, all Number Four fans. You can catch Dianna Agron, Alex Pettyfer, and Teresa Palmer at the Hot Topic store in Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood on Sat. Feb 12 for autographs and photos. The movie opens on Feb. 18. For more information, go to findnumberfour.com and I am Number Four Facebook.
