Daniel Radcliffe casts a spell in ‘How to Succeed in Business’
Turns out Harry Potter can do much more than ride a broomstick, cast spells, destroy horacruxs and defeat powerful wizards. Daniel Radcliffe shows off his How to Succeed in Business without really Trying fancy footwork in this video featured on Vogue.com.
It was shot in a West End theatre. And he talks about his Potter past and his beautiful supermodel Vogue photo shoot companions. “Five ft five. Pale. How did I get here?” he asks. Turns out both his parents were great dancers. And he’s been taking singing and dancing lessons for some time.
His Business director Bob Ashford says “Dan has always had a musical performer inside him waiting for a chance to come out.”
OK, maybe the phrase ‘come out’ was an unfortunate choice of words. But we are not at all surprised that Dan is finding success where ever he lands, onstage and onscreen.
He is certainly not afraid to take career risks. He previously appeared (stark naked) in a West End and Broadway production of the classic play, Equus.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 -- the final HP film — is due out in July. And his next film, The Woman in Black, based on a popular Gothic novel about a vengeful ghost, is due to be released in the UK in Oct. 2011.
