Elton John

Elton John produced the new animated movie Gnomeo and Juliet, a job that he says required him to do absolutely nothing. But he is quite proud of his brief cameo Glam Gnome appearance in the film, in full-on classic Elton sparkles, sequins, crazy shades, playing the piano.

“It’s very important I think, if you’re British, to take the piss out of yourself”, he explained at the film’s junket. “I think you are raised to do that in England, which is rather good.”

He also loves the moment in the movie when they sing, “It’s a little bit runny,” a reference to his “Your Song,” which he’s sung in practically every concert he’s ever done.
