TV stars give as good as they get at Emmy swag suites

Every rich and famous celebrity in Hollywood loves to get free stuff. Doesn’t matter if they’re an A-list movie star or a newbie guest on their first TV series. Swag is like celebrity crack. Once they try it, they always come back for more.

That’s why the celebrity gifting suites – or as I like to call them – celebrity looting suites– are still going strong. And the 2011 Emmy suites held last weekend were no exception.

The hottest (and most conveniently located) Emmy swag suites were the HBO Luxury Lounge – held at the Four Seasons hotel, which was already packed with Emmy nominees in from out of town – and the HP TouchSmart Gift Lounge – held backstage at the Nokia Theatre during Saturday Emmy rehearsals and the actual  Sunday night show. Just like in real estate, successful suites are all about location, location, location.

Over at the HP TouchSmart Lounge,  Emmy nominees and guests were playing the wildly popular video game Angry Birds on the HP TouchSmart PC (they even have a new laptop and tablet rolled into one And no, it’s not in the stores yet). For every star that played Angry Birds, HP donated money based on their scores. The final tally hit over $100,000 and it all went to the Academy of Television and Arts and Sciences Foundation. Needless to say, this charitable touch-n-give aspect drew in lots of stars, including a cleaned-up Charlie Sheen, clearly anxious to get back in the fold.

Movie stars see movies for free, right? Not exactly. Stars usually don’t even stay for their own premieres and 0ften see their films (and others)  incognito at theaters with real people, otherwise known as civilians. That’s why stars love getting their AMC Signature Pass card that gets them (and a guest) in for free to any AMC theatre anywhere in the country.

Akon slid his new AMC card into his tux pocket on Emmy night to keep it safe. Access Hollywood’s Mario Lopez told us he uses his all the time. Even Entourage star Jerry Ferrera snagged one for himself and his girlfriend. If you don’t have an AMC card, you can still see free movies (and get free popcorn) by signing up for the AMC Stubs membership.

Lady Gaga in blue jeans? My EYEEEEESSS!

Look, I know Lady Gaga was in Texas when this shot was taken. But seriously, a sirloin steak shift might have been more appropriate for cattle country than these high-waisted Mom jeans.

Not to mention the Ziggy Stardust does the Grand Ole Opry white platform boots and a red vest over a white short-sleeved T. Lady Gaga looks like every other Mall Rat in Texas. This is not a good turn of events.

Let’s hope the faded denim is a passing fad, not a trend that will sweep the nation. Bring back the outrageous outfits, the leopard print bodysuit she wore in Paris. And let’s hope she doesn’t wear dumpy jeans to perform on Good Morning America on May 27. Below is the promo video for the Born This Way singer’s upcoming appearance.

If you can’t wait until the end of May to hear Gaga, her music will take over Glee on April 26 and the show is extended to 90 minutes to do justice to the superstar. Not mention get bigger ratings.

Blake Lively bares her breasts to promote Green Lantern. Whatever works!

Blake Lively knows that the designer dresses she wears on Gossip Girl always gets the girls turned on. But when it comes to titillating her Green Lantern fan boy hordes at WonderCon and Comic-Con, she routinely serves up a young man’s favorite dish: Breasts on a platter.

For last year’s Comic-Con, Blake wore an apron-like white top that put her ample bronze breasts on full display  and a mid-calf black skirt. . And for the recent Wonder-Con in San Francisco, geeks were treated to another lovely display of her maternal assests in a white underwire corset top — basically a big white cotton bra — with a pinafore short mini dress that also put  her tan muscular legs in full view. Perfect mean for the leg and breast boys in the crowd.

The dress is from a flirty French label called  Carven, a line that’s also been worn by Leighton Meester and Emma Watson.

Eva Longoria wore the tightest hot pants and a very revealing jacket (with no shirt under it) to visit with David Letterman last night. “I wore a tuxedo for you,” she told Letterman. “Part of a tuxedo,” David cracked. If looking good is the best revenge, her ex Tony Parker must really be kicking himself right about now.

During her animated explanation of her Eva’s Kitchen cookbook, the best guacamole and why she doesn’t like Okra, (No, not Oprah) her only button popped open. She exclaimed “Ooop!” before rebuttoning it quickly.

But Dave must have gotten a peek because he got a little bit flustered and kept stammering like he was starring in The King’s Speech: “Uh, uh, uh…” “You didn’t see anything,” Eva protested.

Saoirse Ronan’s bleached brows in ‘Hanna’ sparks beauty trend

Designers Marc Jacobs and the Mulleavy sisters at Rodarte created the slightly alien look of bleached brow models in their Spring 2010 collections. Lady Gaga has bleached her dark brows a few times. Gap-toothed supermodel Lara Stone has inspired lookalike models to bleach their brows. And actress Rooney Mara had hers bleached to play the punky Lisbeth Salander in the upcoming “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”

But Irish actress Saoirse Ronan (pronounced Sir-Sha) may have started it all.

Ronan’s blonde brows were lightened for her lead role in Hanna, directed by her Atonement helmer Joe Wright. She plays a strange other worldly teenager who was raised in the Finnish wilderness and trained by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA assassin, to be a ruthless killer. Released on a mission that will change her life, Hanna journeys across Europe followed by agents with orders to kill her from CIA operative Marissa Wiegler (Cate Blanchett). Hanna is faced with finding out who she is and figuring out what her life will be in this gripping action thriller.

Olivia Wilde and Justin Timberlake were spotted looking cozy together at the Roxbury in LA on Saturday night. People claims they “snuggled” and left the party together at 3 a.m. Sounds serious to us. How about you?

The stars have known each other since they costarred in Alpha Dog in 2006. They’re also appearing together in a new Sci Fi film called Now. Wilde recently filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Tao Raspoli.

And we all know how miserable Justin  was with his stunning girlfriend of several years, Jessica Biel, and how relieved he was to finally  get free. Maybe it’s serious. Maybe he’s just playing the field.

All we want to add is that Olivia should always remember this photo — just 10 years ago –  if or when she’s making the beast with two backs with  JT.

Jennifer Aniston to direct, produce Lifetime movie on breast cancer

JJennifer Aniston wants to direct. And she’s going to get her chance.

Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore and filmmaker Patty Jenkins will all be directors on the Lifetime Original Movie Project Five.

The movie will be a collection of humorous and dramatic short films that explore the impact of breast cancer on women’s lives, their relationships with friends, family and loved ones as well as their own self-images.

“I’m a big fan of this amazing group of powerful and creative women, and we are thrilled to be working with them on ‘Project Five,’” says Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager of Lifetime Networks. “It’s an awesome feeling to be able to give them such a strong platform to do what they do best – entertain and tell great stories – so that we all educate viewers about breast cancer through these five films of courage, love, and hope.”

Which ‘Sucker Punch’ babe gives the best back at London premiere?

Fresh from their US premiere, the Sucker Punch babes hopped the pond and took their red carpet fashion show straight to London for the UK premiere of their surrealistic female fantasy empowerment movie.

Abbie Cornish wore a taupe chiffon Alberta Ferretti gown and sparkled in Cartier jewelry. Vanessa Hudgens also wore a white silk Alberta Ferretti gown with beading details and a very sexy plunging back. Emily Browning sticks to a basic black minidress. Carla Gugino wears a flirty bright blue fitted dress. Jamie Chung is wearing Dolce & Gabbana paired with Sergio Rossi shoes. And Jena Malone chose a sweet violet swirl print sheath.

So everyone looks pretty darn fantastic. But the real dilemma: Who looks the best from the back. Are you ready for the posterior pose off?
