Madonna blamed for manager suicide, Kabbalah charity investigated

Looks like Madonna may have some ‘splaining to do. And rabbi Philip Berg, the head of Madonna’s charitable arm, the Kabbalah Center International, may too.

Amidst news of investigations into serious financial discrepancies with her Kabbalah-based charities, including a proposed girls school in Malawi, comes an accusation from the sister of Madonna’s long time personal manager.

The manager, Caresse Henry, 44, shot herself to death in an Irvine, Calif., apartment  in March 2010. And her sister blames the suicide on her having been fired by Madonna in 2004, after 13 years as one of her closest confidantes. Her sister, Yvette Dobbie, says  Madonna and Kabbalah are to blame for her death.

“Madonna and Kabbalah have blood on their hands. They killed my sister as surely as if they would have pulled the trigger themselves,” Dobbie told The Daily. “They don’t want to hear this, but I don’t care — I’m not in the entertainment business and I’m not intimidated by Madonna.”

The feds are far more interested in the Kabbalah Centre International, ground zero for Madonna’s charitable international ventures.  Especially after news broke that her Malawi School for Girls — funded with $18 million — has been abandoned and the Raising Malawi foundation is now kaput.
