‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Gown: Is this the dress Bella will wear?

Twilight Saga human-vampire heroine Bella Swan (aka. Kristen Stewart) gets married in Breaking Dawn. And the whole world (well, the Twilight world of fans) wants to know what her wedding gown will look like.

Kristen has offered her ideas about what Bella would pick and why. “I feel like Bella would want something classic and simple too, but beautiful and feminine.” She thinks Bella would want to wear traditional white or cream.

“She doesn’t want to get married but because it means so much to Edward and he has such different sensibilities and different values, I think because she’s gonna go ahead and go through with it, she’s gonna give him everything like a beautiful monumental wedding because he wants it so badly.”

But she also admitted that Stephanie Meyer probably has ‘really specific ideas’ about the gown. Given that, does Meyer’s new book, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, give fans a sneak peek at what the gown may look like?

Ever wonder what would happen if Harry (played by Billy Crystal) met Sally (again) in the retirement home? But this time, Sally (played by Oscar winner Helen Mirren) was a blood-sucking vampire?

Sure, it’s a stretch but hey, you know Hollywood pitch meetings. And somehow it all works out. Just watch this Funny or Die video. And what a tag-line: ‘Getting Old Sucks.’

Frankly, we think a lot of romantic comedy movies that might be improved by making one of the lovers a vampire. Imagine Jane Eyre. Make Mr. Roderick a vampire, instant Twilight audience appeal.

Designer Ina Soltani‘s first runway show was the fabulous finale for the 2011 Style Fashion Week LA.  Her colorful luxe collection was shown at the renovated cathedral space, Vibiana.  On the runway: A lively and colorful mix of red carpet-worthy gowns and flirty short cocktail dresses in shimmering silks, satin, chiffon and washed leathers.

Soltani’s sexy show-stopping dresses have been worn by Hollywood’s hottest celebs including “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart, Emily Blunt, Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Kristin Cavalleri, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, and Carrie Underwood. Stylist Jonas Halbert was already eyeing Soltani’s runway outfits for a fashion shoot with Cameron Diaz this week.

“I love Ina Soltani as designer for red carpet, celebrities, and shoots,” Halbert said. “It’s all about color combinations, special fabrics and even cool leather pieces. I’m always looking for something special and Ina’s washed leathers are amazing.”

The Dish Rag’s Tom Julian (official style seer for Oscar.com) chatted with Ina after the show about her collection, her inspiration, fans and expansion plans.

Twilight Robert Pattinson admires ‘crazy’ Charlie Sheen

Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson admires Charlie Sheen. There we said it.

But before you get all riled up, you should know that Pattinson gave an interview to Vanity Fair a few months ago. VF is what’s called a long lead publication so that means the cover story interviews are locked six months ago  (or more) and turned in by the writer at least three months in advance.

So when you read the headlines today that scream ‘Twilight star Robert Pattinson admires Charlie Sheen,’ (yes, like the above) please  keep that in mind. None of the  latest insanity had happened yet. Sure, Charlie has always been crazy but now his life/career has turned into a train wreck, specially his publicist quit, he’s threatening people’s lives, using the J word in texts and emails, and  having porn stars and hookers care for his twin sons, who have now been removed from his home. The kids, not the porn stars and hookers.
